Come and learn all about forming your Family Team for the upcoming Walks to Cure Diabetes! We will teach you everything you need to know during the first hour (6-7pm) and then have fun with your family at all the Boondocks attractions.

The EXPO is FREE and includes health screenings, cooking demonstrations, product and service exhibitors. Optimum Clinical Research will be doing FREE blood pressures, glucose tests, and * hemoglobin A1c tests (* for those that qualify).

The Cancer Awareness Expo’s purpose is to educate the public about cancer risk, prevention, and care. Exhibitors with these goals are welcome. Included in the Expo are the following:
- Tours of a giant 20-foot-long colon exhibit
- Free skin cancer screenings
- Free clinical breast exams
- Free oral cancer screenings
Community Health Charities is sponsoring a FREE health fair in the Wells Fargo building on September 19th. Most of the major not for profit health organizations will be there providing free health screenings. Optimum Clinical Research will be there working with the American Diabetes Association. We will be providing FREE blood sugar, blood pressures, & hemoglobin A1c tests (for diabetics).

Step Out participants are committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because they walk among us in our lives and at the event.

Optimum Clinical Research is pleased to be participating in the first annual Utah’s Health Expo. Admission is free. The expo will provide a wealth of information on current health topics. We will be providing Blood Pressure Checks, Blood Sugar Testing, and a limited number of Free Hemoglobin A1c tests for diabetic patients.
Imagine the inability to participate in sports or summer camp activities. Many asthmatic children are faced with this reality. Through close medical supervision, Camp Wyatt allows asthmatic children an opportunity to experience a rock wall, canoeing, swimming and field games.
The camp is for 8 to 14 year-olds who have moderate to severe asthma. Parents, too can relax knowing their child is under the supervision of around-the-clock medical personnel.
Commit to be Fit is an initiative designed to make Salt Lake County a healthy and fit place to live, work, and play. The cities and townships in the county are competing to be named “Salt Lake County’s Fittest Community.” The community with the largest share of its residents who Commit to be Fit will win!
Whether you are already active, or need to add some physical activity to your routine, visit www.slfit.org and pledge to do something—small or large—to lead a healthy and fit life. There are twice-a-month prize drawings for participants that Commit to be Fit!
Everyone who Commits to be Fit will receive a FREE small McDonald’s fruit and Yogurt Parfait and will be entered into our twice-a-month prize drawings.

Each year, the Father’s Day Council honors fathers who have demonstrated the ability to balance their personal lives, serve as role models for their children and help make a positive difference in their communities.
The Father of the Year honorees raise crucial funds to help support the advocacy, research and education initiatives of the American Diabetes Association. These funds help the American Diabetes Association to fulfill its mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
